I am working on my DIY adjustable masking screen.

I will be using two 40x40" retractable Da-Lite screens.

I was hoping someone could give me an idea of how much force is in the constant tension spring.

I hope to use these springs for each side of the screen as masking, but need to make sure the magnets can withstand the correct force. I could overshoot, but that would probably make it pricier, as well as cause more difficulty when switching ratios.

I couldn't find any information on the net.

Thank you!
