I recently bought a new Gossen Bolex lightmeter, specific for Bolex H reflex, because my old is irredeemably broken. It works well with classic method of zync-air battery, instead of old PX13. Ok...
Only an help: the lightmeter arrived with numbers of ASA upside down (like it: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/C60AAOSwRLZULb82/$_57.JPG - this image is not of my lighmeter, is only from ebay, only for show "the problem" i don't have photo of my new Gossen);
I, of course, put everything Ok and now the numbers are straight. But, it is normal to make a complete turn (or 2 complete turn, ecc.) of 360 grades from number upside down to straight? As if the turn went beyond its permitted limit... Or something's gonna wrong in the lightmeter? I don't think, I think, then just replace the direction all right, it's Ok. There are only a ring with number, not controlled by circuit or spring. It's true?
Thank you!
P.S. Ah, I test with another lightmeter, result are Ok, are the same, compatibility with a little difference for percentage of light diverted in the viewfinder, nice feature of Gossen Bolex (useful option for H reflex!).
