After a false start or two, I'm now the proud owner of a Bauer T610. I originally wanted a Eumig S938 but I just couldn't find one in good enough condition. I did hear about a very little-used Bauer, though, so it's now in my possession, complete with the original box, instructions, microphone etc etc. My goodness, it's a quiet-running machine, quieter than my Eumig 936!
Anyway, my question - what's the best way to attach a scope lens to the Bauer? I think Wittners do one, but it looks like it needs to have holes drilling in the projector's casework to fit? I would prefer a bracket that fits to the front of the PJ than a free-standing one. I have a Kowa 16D anamorphic lens.

Congratulations John. A wise purchase indeed and given the amount of exposure these have over on the other place of worship, it may be a good time to catch up with us all again.
It's very very calm nowadays! 😂😂
There are many tutorials placed over there with high resolution detailed photographs, technical drawings and circuit diagrams when necessary, to assist the well being of these beautiful machines over the years that follow.
As for scope brackets, the best place to find a bracket that actually attaches to the machine is over on FFR or Wittners. You will have to drill the casing on the machine though to use one of these successfully.
The Bauer, whilst a superb machine, isn't quite imho just about bright enough to cater for a very large scope image. There is a movable 2/3 bladed shutter that would then push it on up there to the Beaulieu levels of brighness, or somewhere close anyhow, if you saw fit to invest.
These are also available from FFR Filmtechnik.
These are as I've said for years now, THE quietest running stereo machine ever produced when all is how it should be on them. No surprises there then John even against your 936! 😂😊
