My memory has failed me, even though I remember reading how to do this recently I can't for life of me remember how. I know you take the front cover off and there's a screw somewhere I think. Can anyone help?

Hi Stuart,
Under the front cover there are two screws to remove (look at the black arrows pointing to them in the second photo).
If you have a Braun Visacustic 2000, there are two more screws you can see on top of the cover near to the handle.

Whilst the Braun Visacustic is a nice projector it could have been improved considering its price range.
1) By fitting an internal speaker.
2) By fitting 1200' spool arms.

I quite like the external speaker that sits underneath the main machine. Agree about the small reel size though. I also have the Visacustic pulse unit which I'm looking into utilising for sync sound. It's all beautifully engineered with that understated Braun design. In many ways it doesn't look 40 years old.
