Hello everyone,can anybody tell me why some EFR lamps are brighter than others.My projector takes 15v 150 w lamps. Can anyone recommend the brighter brand name lamps,regards John.

I can't answer the first part but Xenophot lamps - which used to be made by Osram - have generally been considered 15% brighter.

Paul - I haven't researched this very thoroughly but when I looked for sellers of Xenophot lamps, I found that although some Osram ones are still being offered, there seemed to be evidence that the latest ones of this type were not being manufactured by Osram. I couldn't find them on Osram's site. If anyone is sure of the exact position, it would be good to have clarification.
