Has any member got that crap projector from Bauer known the Servo Stereo (model T430)?
It looks beautiful, but that's where it stops. Badly designed and that's unusual for Bauer.
Take a look at the photo courtesy of Van Eck.

The worst thing is the twin volume control. Look at how far it sticks out, much more than anything else. It is a work of art to place it into its fitted case and to remove it. There is such a small clearance. It needs a steady hand to slowly lift in a complete vertical movement whilst carefully watching the knob.
Perhaps the fitted case was an afterthought, and, of course, if you didn't have it there would be no similar worries.
The very pretty panel doesn't really do anything, and the automatic controls are poor.
It does seem that the Bauer designers were trying to influence new buyers with the design. But in my opinion they got it wrong.
Perhaps other owners my disagree with me.

I agree Maurice and no front/top sprocket was a definate step backwards too.

Best Mark.

The instruction book clearly shows a pair of scissors cutting a straight cross-cut placed a perforation space ahead of a perforation.
Quite unusual for an instruction book to be so specific. Presumably because the projector does not have a top sprocket which could be more lenient of a poorly made trim.
One quirk is the auto-threading. Projector must be in STOP mode, then film inserted into slot. The film then threads.
