My little boys birthday party is coming up and the theme is 'Dinosaurs'. A party isn't complete without a film show at the end, so I need some dino material. Preferably animated and suitable for the very young, but anything considered (I like dinosaurs too...).

Rob,

Hmmmmm...guess "Jurassic Park" is a bit out of the age range [Big Grin] !
I believe Derann has that great extra long promo from "Dinosaur".

For when the little tyke grows older, you ought to find a copy of "The Lost World" (offered by Blackhawk as well as other super 8 companies), the first great success story for Dinosaur films, as well as a real milestone in animation history. yeah, the movement of the Dinosaurs is somewhat ludicrous by todays standards, (actually, some of it isn't too bad, honestly). It's a great adventure film, as well as the predecessor to Steven Speilbergs "Lost World", as a Dinosaur, brought back from the Lost World, goes amok in the big city. Great fun.

You might as well start with GERTIE THE DINOSAUR (1909), on Std 8 - Not only the first animated cartoon, but the first with the creature itself - Shorty
