Hi John,

I was just wondering how your sale went. I certainly hope it has eased your situation, and that - even more importantly - you are well on the road to recovery.

As you said, you should be in a position to respond to our various 'wish lists' after today, so if you do have anything available from my own list, I would be very pleased to hear from you. I shall be clinging to my PC in eager anticipation.

With kindest regards,

Me too - There's a baker's dozen of shorts that would reduce my want-list nicely - Remember ol' Shorty now

John,

Did you ever attempt to send a copy of your list? Was it only out there for close friends? Please respond, for, if you did attempt to send it, but it didn't arrive, I could certianly verify that for you.

Jean,

If you haven't seen his list yet, your not alone. I haven't seen his list either, not once. I'm thinking it must be "friends alone" or VIP's.

... which is, of course, his choice. It seems like if you have a choice few that will be priviledged to see the list, you should just send it to those. Personal feelings, mind you.

Hi Osi,

I've received his list 3 weeks ago and I've send an answer with the film I want to buy immediatelly.
From then, I didn't received any answer.

I've notice that John will wait till last friday and that he will answer to everyone.
But until now, I wait...

... wait...
... wait...

Regards,

JC.

Osi, I received the huge list in three separate e-mails right after I inquired, and i'm definitely NOT a V.I.P. or personal friend of this guy....I replied about the films I was interested in, but haven't heard back from him since...he must be ill or something.

I got the list too and trust me...I'm definitely not "VIP"! [Smile]
I too haven't heard a peep. Maybe he sold the collection already? Inquiring minds want to know....

That could be the case, R, he was saying that he wanted to sell the whole collection at once to one buyer, and he may have done so.

... if he has, it would help if he lets at least one person on the forum know that he's done this (if he has), so that we can put all this at rest.

I do hope that whatever his condition is ... he is doing better.

Does anyone have any information about John?

Time seems to be going on, and whilst he promised to respond to all enquiries, I find myself somewhat concerned as to his well-being.

Hope all is well, John.

I hope he's okay, he's an old friend and has excellent films. I'm waiting too, several of us are. He'll answer, it could be medical again. Patience

"Patience is a virtue", I agree.

I think all our concerns are mainly for John himself.

Our personal film requirements are only secondary, and must clearly take a back-seat for the time being.
