No, as I'll be keeping one or two projectors and all of my smaller short films (besides, I still have priceless home movies)... but I'm getting out of the "serious home cinema enthusiast" side of things, or hope to as fast as possible... I'm sick and tired of having so much stuff anyway, I want to live small and modest, I'm ready to go back to basics and live in an apartment with just the necessities and my other (non-space or money-wasting) hobbies like the Internet and game consoles...

I wish you all the best Jan, but you are only doing what loads of other people are doing. The lure of space saving DVD's and the quality of video projection and large LCD tv's are prooving too hard to resist. I also reckon many collectors who have shelves of films and projectors dont want to sell them but fear they may be worthless in the the future, so they sell them now while there is still a market for them.
As for myself, I may sell some to get more space but the majority I'd like to keep and try to keep the GS1200 going for as long as possible even if half the original parts are replaced!

Ach! Graham... I may be doing what many others are doing, but not for the same reasons... I must reduce the amount of personal belongings I have AND I need money desperately. It's a real sacrifice as I'd love to keep (almost) everything I have... especially that modified ST-1200HD of mine with the long reel arms is going to hurt letting it go... anyway, anyone interested in my projectors and/or films please inquire for details...don't be shy...just think, you can have an original (unique!) "ST-1600HD" doctored by none other than myself... LOL
