EXPECIALLY FOR OSI

This is the rare Italian edition on super 8 (4*600ft) of FANTASIA in its original box. A 5*600ft edition also exists here in Italy, but it's not as rare as the one linked here is, because the PASTORAL sequence, in this second case, had been already edited.

I do have the same print of this version. Unfortunately the feature is not complete (lots of cuts) and the source was a very bad one. Stock used: EASTMAN ( [Frown] ). Mono sound. If you pals think to compare it to a good Derann FORGET IT and leave it where it is. This is definitely not a top quality print, of course. But if you are looking for a rarity, well, here's your cup of tea.

The censored footage of the PASTORAL segment is here intact. NO OTHER WAY to own the complete and uncensored sequence on super 8. Starting price seems to be interesting. Italian language (spoken inserts).
So, someone could have been looking for it.

I'm not the seller and I don't know him so...
Good luck.

Fantasia

I would love to have this but doubt I'll be able to afford it. I would have to be the only bidder and that's not gonna happen.

I added it to my watch list anyway. Be interesting to see what it goes for.

Thomas, first of all try to contact the seller to ask if he is in a position to ship to USA as I can read the sale is limited to Europe.

That's the 4th copy of this ultra rare edition I see in my life. One is the one I own.
Then I've seen two for sale on Ebay in the past years. The first was sold for more than 200 euro. The second one FOR 15!!!. So you never know!

Good luck. As specified in my previous post, fair quality, but great rarity. The description says it is in good condition... But who knows? The following image was captured while screening my copy.
Ciao.

You're right. I ran the page through a translator and it's Europe only. Oh, well.

Hi All,

I'm the seller of this copy, so if you have doubt please address to me any question and I will answer them as soon as possible.

I have finally found mostly all the Derann shorts of the film and I have decided to renounce to it, because even if this is the only existing copy with the not edited Pastorale, I don't care to have it!

I don't like to advertice my auctions in general so this is the reason why I never mention them in the forum.

x Gian Luca:
are you the ebayer who asked me to see some shots taken from the movie? I'm out of home these days so I cannot take them now...

x Thomas:
unfortunately it's too complicated to ship in US and so I decided to limit to European Union only. Sorry!

bye
Flavio

Hi Flavio. Yes, it was me asking. A friend of mine living outside Europe is interested and in case I'd buy it for him.

But he wants to know how condition is. So, if possible, let me know at least by telling if the copy is on Eastman as mine or on another stock and maybe better (as I hope for him).

That's why I asked you if it were possible to have some shots. But no problem at all, if you cannot. Once more, I was simply trying to help. I fully understand [Wink] !
Anyway, if you give me the permission, I supply him your PM and tell him to contact you. Let me know.

Take care and thanks for answering.

Auction closed...

I saw the film again after a long time to take some pictures and decided I can't renounce to it! [Big Grin]

... And your print is absolutely a good one, Flavio. Lucky man! What stock used for? I knew all copies were on Eastman, but yours is definitely not. Am I right?
Ciao.

Its too bad Flavio ...

I wrote you an e-mail but never recieved a reply, so I tolod Gian not to bother with it. I wish I had recieved the e-mail from you, as I would have loved to have had Gian bid on it.

Send me an e-mail if your still interested in selling it, as I'm sure Gian and I could work together on it.

Osi,
no intention not to answer to your email... sorry for this!
I told I was out my home for work, so I had no acces to my email (and my PC) .... As soon as I saw the questions on ebay I answered them.
I tried to get pictures of Fantasia to send to you and Gian (for you) but then I decided not to sell anymore the film... I hadn't received any offer on ebay so I don't think to have offended anyone...

I hope you understand the situation...

Flavio
