"THE SOUND OF MUSIC" - CinemaScope print as released by Derann, condensed version in 3 x 600 ft plus full opening titles, and so housed on 1 x 800 ft and 2 x 600 ft spools. Although shortened in running time, it has been so well edited that it is very difficult to see which scenes have been removed, and the story flows smoothly. The print is in very good condition, on low fade Eastman LPP stock, with no sign of colour fading to red. £59.99 plus £4 towards shipping (UK) outside of UK at cost. smcconway @ hotmail. com

Simon you're spot on with the quality of the editing on this 3 x 600' release. Had I not just bought this same title from a dealer, I'd snap it up. That's a more than fair price, and I'd recommend it to anyone, another excellent choice of release by the one and only Dudley crew.

Thanks to everyone who enquired, but the film was sold within about 2 seconds of listing here!

Funny that the same film was listed for 3 days at the same price and no one put a bid:

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&ite m=281014325950

By seeing exactly the same description, that must be your listing, right Simon?

If anyone is interested, he/she could place a bid and won it without any bidder.

Now within 2 second listed here, it's gone.

So good for you Simon, because you avoid Ebay seller fees by putting in this forum.

It seems to me that there are still many collectors don't look ebay so often... [Wink]

cheers,

I noticed it on ebay and was interested, but the international shipping costs were 38 pounds!
I thought to a situation where someone likes to earn more on shipping than the real final bidding...

Wow! 59 pounds is a great price for this 3 x 600 foot digest. I already have this one and its one of my favorites. Even with high postage rates, its still worth the price.

James.
