Try to pick up a nice pair of 16mm rewinders and then contact Steve Osborne for super 8 rewinder adaptors...This is what I use and love them..

I'm with Winbert on this since I just checked into the cost of a pair of 16mm rewinders they are quite expensive! I think I can get by with just an editor and use the rewinders on the editor. I just need to break down a few features and put them on larger reels and also use the rewinders to apply Filmguard. Thanks, RS

those editors will work of course. I like metal rewinds where I can adjust tension. Heavier duty for large 16mm, 8mm and Super 8mm rolls, just all around old school habit really. cement splicer for 16 and standard 8.
you can ask Urbanski for used rewinds btw. a fraction of the cost. I got some old neumade rewinds.
