I am after the Derann ROTJ on Super8. Will buy it outright, or can swap for Derann Star Wars.
I am after one with excellent colour, I have seen some that are far too green.
Cheers

Beware of ones that are far too blue as well. I sold one to a person a couple of years ago that was so blue, that the Endor scenes that should have at least had some green (it's plants for Gawds sake!) were just varying shades of blue. Wretched! What out for those!

Thanks for the warning Osi.

I would be interested in renting the film off anyone, or swapping for a month or two with anything from our library. We really just want to get a look at Jedi on Super8 and see what the quality is like.

On the good prints, (I no longer have one, sadly), it was exceedingly sharp with excellent contrast and very little grain noticeable. If you find a slightly green print, it might be one to get, as, the "greenish" tint helps the facial tones on this film, as it was originally, not the greatest on facial tones. Perhaps it's because much of it has a bluish color scheme to begin with.

My first day print of STAR WARS has the slightest greenish tint to it, and the facial tones are outstanding on it, where later prints that are leaning towards the bluish cast, have a very unhealthy facial tone.

Usually, a good facial tone will mean great color overall! Facial tones are the first thing to go when color is not proper.
