Looking for a copy of the 1975 movie "The Reincarnation of Peter Proud." I already have a 16mm print, but unfortunately the color is pretty faded. I'm hoping that there is a Super 8 print out there that has good color left (maybe something printed in the 80s / 90s?). I've seen some indication that it was available in Spain at one point, but other than that I'm not sure.

Spoken language doesn't matter but I would prefer without subtitles. If anyone has one let me know!

Welcome to the forum! I'm sorry to say that I suspect you have no chance as I've never heard of a US or UK release, and it's the sort of film I'd remember. You could be right about Spain, but it seems that a lot of films appeared in Spain that were not available elsewhere.

Thank you? Well, I appreciate the response anyway. [Smile]

Yes, I understand it may be a long shot, I'm mainly basing my information on this listing from 2011:

Plus there also appears to have been an eBay auction for a similar print on eBay.es but it's been long enough that the original listing isn't available to view anymore. Could have been the same print for sale I guess.

And I agree with you, I haven't found any instances of a US or UK release. So, I was hopeful that someone might have some insight on the Spanish release, or that maybe it had come out in Germany or somewhere else in Europe? Either way I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. [Smile]

Good luck - that listing certainly gives encouragement. I don't want to be unduly pessimistic but I was once given the impression that may of the Spanish features were produced for film libraries. If that's true (and perhaps Spanish forum members can comment), the quantity in circulation could be low.
