I have just picked up a print on 2 x 600ft reels at a ridiculous low price. I don't know if it's the Iver print squeezed onto these two reels or if there is 400 ft missing, as I have not viewed it yet as projector is awaiting parts.Any thoughts?

Steve, it sounds like it may have a part missing as the 4 x 400ft fits full on 2 x 800 reels, however, it may flow quite well as the first 40 minutes after the titles is quite drawn out, but once it gets going it doesn't start and that build up was very intentional. [Wink]

It has the original leader Film Laboratories Slough England, it looks like two parts on each reel as there is a visible difference in film at splice, so I really don't know what the contents are until it's projected.

Well the good news, it's an Iver print and still has the Iver and Bryanston logos at the start, the bad news is it's not complete ending where Franklin is attacked in the woods by Leather Face and the blond girl runs away and Leather Face catches up with her. So I guess the last 400ft is missing, the dinner party if you can call it that and the girl escaping, but hey it's not bad and the colour is still there just the usual right hand hair line scratch which so many used prints seem to have, so I'm really pleased, and just maybe the last part may turn up when I least expect it.....I think if you go by full version I'm missing the last 28 minutes...
