Sorry to bother you Adam. Im extremely impressed with your redub. Ive noticed quite a few titels from Germany that you can't get in the UK, perhaps even the US. I have a 2 x 400 ft version of The Deep plus Live and Let Die and For your eyes only (both full length in Italian)
My question is Adam, could you provide a step by step description of how you do your re recording, you sir are the master and I would appreciate your instructions. Thank you

Mark - To write a step by step would take some time but to give you a basic run down...

Things you need:
-GS1200 or other projector with pulse sync capabilities.
-Computer with 5.1 Soundcard
-Adobe Premiere or other editing software that will edit 5.1 audio.
-Camera that will record in 24p (23.976 FPS)

Step 1:
Use your laptop to output a 23.976 FPS pulse output to your GS1200. This will make sure that the film you play runs at a perfect 23.976 FPS. Use your camera to record the film from leader to tail.

Step 2:
Bring the footage into your editing software. Edit the audio to match frame for frame to your film. This can take some time but the results are worth it. Then export your new video with yrou new audio.

Step 3:
Playback your new clip in sync with your film. If you have a good magnetic track you can now re-record back to you film using your gs1200.

Like I said its a bit more involved than I have described. You have many technical things to setup in order for this to work. I am thinking of offering my services to the collectors who want good stereo or English dubs done to their films. Particularly digests where this has been nearly impossible in the past.

Thanks Adam, very informative and much appreciated. I have all that kit, the hardware and the software etc. But how do you physically connect the computer to the Elmo, what interface do you use etc.
Again, thank you for your time in answering. Kindest regards Mark
