Hello,
I am looking for the some DERANN titles and one of them is
the release of this Alan Parker classic. (3x600")
The full feature in best condition possible.
It would be a wonderful addition to my collection of Musical-features.
Thank You for watching.
Oliver

Oliver ...

Be advised that this is one of the features that was not only provided by Derann, but it was also a very rare Optical super 8 sound feature as well, as i can attest to, as I have the optical sound feature of this!

Did they issue the optical as a low fade print, Osi?

Osi,

thank You very much.

I know about Walton and Derann releases...
and optical Airline prints.
But I would prefer a version with magnetic sound to re-record the sound into german
and use the musical numbers in stereo.
And so Derann is the only option in sound and image to me.

Maybe I am lucky...

I'm not sure about the whole print, this print is made up of two optical sound prints actually, reels 1, 2 and most of 3 are abosolutely stunning color and sharpness, part of reel 3 and reel 4 appear to be taken from some other film stock and eastman stock that appears to not be low fade, but has held it's color pretty darned well.

What's kid of funny, is that, for the end credit titles, the person that i got this from, added the end titles from a Derann magnetic sound print. Curious, eh?
