I found other threads in the forum about CC, but nobody focused on horror.
How were they qualitatively? Caligari, Phantom of the Opera...
Does anyone have a list of just horror of Collectors Club? Were they only in Regular 8 or even in Super 8?

P.S. And Battelship Potemkin, always by CC? Quality?

The first thing to celebrate with beloved Collectors Club is that they were affordable in the early 70's for we youngsters and I could also buy a feature a reel at a time. Print quality was not the best but the did concentrate very much on vintage titles at the start. As years progressed we got better titles 'Carve her name with pride' feature and more. Much rarer now is 'Un Chien Andalou' 1929 with the film print used from the British Film Institute, this later also came with a sound track as well.

Generally the run of the mill titles sell cheaply but the better ones will sell for more. The two guys who used to operate were excellent to buy from and if I did have a problem which was rare I could expect a replacement very quickly indeed.

Nosferatu was a popular silent on 8 as were the other German classics well worth looking for and usually a lower price tag.

Did you have Caligari, Lee?
Do you know if it was complete?
I know that the films had the title printed at start on all the CC publications, but do you know if this was present on all reels if the film was 5 reels?
