Hello all,

I have a Elmo 260S-XL for sale, The camera is in mint condition and dont belive it has ever been used. The box is of course all beat up. I have everything that came with it except for the mic stand and the manual. It even has the unused unopened qtips in the box. I am no professional like most of you on this site. I do not have any film to test this out but have put batteries in and everthing seems to funtion properly.

I also have a Elmo St-180E projector for sale. This also looks like its never been used. Although due to my ignorance during a move, have managed the put a few small scuffs on the machine, as well as break one of the clips that hold the power cord on the back. But I dont belive the machine has been used or if it has its not been much. The machine turns on and projects fine, the reel spins on both sides

I am by far no expert on this equipment, (even after reading a lot of the posts on this awesome site.) I want to sell these at a fare price, but I not even sure what their worth.
I figured I would post here before putting on ebay just to give anyone on here a chance before they go. Any insight or advice would be great!

I would like to test this out with film though. I am not a collector of film (yet). It would be great to test this projector and camera out before it goes, if anyone has some info on cheap film or movies I could get my hand on that would be great.

Thanks
Rick Braaten

The Elmo ST-180 will sell for $75-100 on a bad day and up to $350 on a very good day. With the box, hang tags, new belts and great pictures of course. Not sure about the camera, maybe $50 or 60. Your best bet for $$ is to sell them separately. Together very rarely works to your advantage.
Best of luck to you!

Hi Rick, welcome 2 the forum [Smile]

In order to test your camera, the easiest way is to get some Ektachrome 64T super-8 film from Kodak, or you can purchase it from Dwayne's Photo at http://www.k14movies.com/ - they also process the film (but processing costs extra as E64T film is not sold process-paid).
I'd also be glad to provide you with a short test film for the projector except all I really have to spare are some silent shorts, which isn't much use to test a sound projector I reckon. [Roll Eyes] But I'm sure someone will be able to fill in that gap. [Smile]
