Eric, what's weird looking about it? It looks like a normal R2000 to me...

I have similar machines by Elmo, the SC30 and the SC8 (I also have the SC18, but it's no more than an ST with a big daylight viewer), strange little monsters, they are...
I have never been a great fan of these particular Eumigs (along with the 92X series), because of their perilous threading system.
What's actually weird about this R2000 is that it's supposedly a sound projector, but doesn't feature the 24fps speed...

You're thinking about the RS3000 (Black/Gold), the R2000 (Cream) is a bit link a Mark 610D with a built-in screen. It is a great multispeed (0,3,6,9,18 FPS) silent 100w Dual-Gauge projector which resembles a microwave oven!

Jean-Marc, Mabye this projector was designed solely for the filmmaker, showing his 18fps sound films.??
