Hey Gang,

Somehow I've ended up with a Kodak Ektar 22mm f1.0 lens from the fabled M100 projector, but no projector to go with it. So I figured I'd make a few dollars selling the lens...I might have priced this higher, but close inspection reveals a small nick on the back element (you can see it if you look through the front of the lens), so anybody want it for $20 plus what it costs to ship it?

Hi Joseph,
I'm interested. Can you give me your email addy and also tell me more about the nick? Is it on the barrel or on the glass itself?
Thanks-

Hey Alan,

Thanks for asking...my email is joe_bot AT verizon DOT net. The nick is on the glass itself...fooey, but don't know if it affects picture or not since I don't have a projector the lens fits. I'll send it to you, and if it looks okay to you, then you can pay me. Otherwise you can send it back.
Joseph

Hi Joseph,
just a quick line to see if the lens is still on offer, or if Alan bought the lens,
regards
John

Hi John,
I wanted to buy it but Joseph found the projector it belonged to and decided to keep it.

It really is a fantastic lens and thanks to Paul here for introducing it to our hobby group! The picture is so sharp it looks like the grain just shimmers...everything sparkles. I only wish it had a bigger picture throw. Its pretty small being 22mm. Wish they made a fixed focus one at 12.5mm. That would be great!
