This is rather frustrating:
My Bolex M8 had a crack in one of the little plastic buttons that hold in the carbon rod on the side of the motor assembly. When I tried to unscrew the button to fix it, it split in two and the spring popped out.
The spring has now gotten deformed, and although I have tried to run the machine with tape holding the spring and rod in, it's very hit and miss, and I really don't want to damage the motor.
Does anyone have such a cover button and a spare rod with the spring in good shape, or might you know where I can get them (short of buying a new machine on EBay, which I don't really want to do.)
Thanks, Claus.
