Desperately looking for either Eumig stereo projector model number S938 or S940. I had bought a S938 from the UK and after many trials and tribulations I had got it working pretty well (with much thanks to Paul Adsett). Last night I heard a pop - a BIG cloud of smoke came out the back - and the sound stopped working altogether. I think the fact it came from overseas and was using a power converter for the correct voltage was causing different issues, and finally this So... I'm looking for a machine here in the US that I will have an easier time with. Will pay TOP dollar if the projector is in great working condition. Please email me if you have one for sale - or any leads where I may find one. Thanks!

Brian-You probably didn't have the proper converter. I have a laserdisc player from the UK and I use the power converter and have never had a problem.

There are plenty of Elmo ST 1200's that are good. I had one that lasted me 12 or 14 years. I got it pre-Ebay. Sold it just recently as it was having speed problems and didn't want to fix it. The guy who bought it knew it only had to be 1 or 2 things. I just bought another for $200 including shipping and really lucked out as it had the 1.0 lens. Dan just had one for sale and it went quick.
