Hi All, reluctantly I am selling my cherished ELMO GS1200. Absolutely mint in th eoriginal card box with foam inserts. Comes with a copy of the manual PLUS the service manual. Also included an Elmo angle poise lamp with a (similar to) XLR fitting MIB. Plus a bag of guide spares etc. Plus the balck case of accessories. Works perfectly and smoothly, even smells new! Plus I will include FREE an airline print of "The Bounty" with Mel Gibson and Anthony Hopkins on 2x2000 spools (opt snd) I'm asking £850, happy to post but at your cost and risk. Happy to meet with collectors if in the Bristol area for a demo etc. I have a small video on Vimeo shot on my mobile phone of the GS running a colour faded print of Alien: http://vimeo.com/18742524 Thanks for your possible interest.

Thanks Adam, please note (to all interested parties) that the proce is negotiable within reason, ie you don't want the feature etc etc. Would rather sell here than on Ebay.

I'm probably not a prospective buyer, but it might be worth mentioning which version it is and when you obtained it, if you were the original owner. Has it had below-average usage, or does the condition reflect it being looked after exceptionally well?

Cor Blimey Adrian, yes thats a consideration. OK, not the first owner. Unsure which model it is (how does one tell?) Def not a Xenon. Very little use in my 5 years of ownership, and I would say very little overal in its entire life. I work at a University and it has always been maintained by a friend in the AV technical department (who used to work for McMillans who were the AV specialists/installers/servicing for the professional media industry) It is mint boxed and clearly showcases its gentle usage. Can supply pics to those interested.

I believe a way a version 3 can be identified is by black lines on the volume/tone knobs, whilst 1 and 2 have dots. Having said that, not everyone seems to think the later modifications were improvements, but a version 3 is obviously not quite as old.

Reasonable price for a person to person full demo sale Mark including a feature as well. You can check if your machine is a later version if the film is threaded away from the sound head from under the gate. The earlier models were the usual forward type of lower loop, and I like your little video clip by the way.

Thanks Lee. The projector is still available, I may send it to Ebay for auction (fraid I hate Ebay but some times its an option) Reason for selling the GS is to buy a much needed car (so the sale will go into a pot to buy said vehicle)No takers yet but happy to entertain realistic offers.
