Does anyone have one of these or know where I can get one? As you can see this one has seen better days. This is a drive wheel for an Emdeko/Argus dual 8mm projector.

Hope I'm posting back in time I believe I bought the last drive roller I could find when I rebuilt my Argus.
But I also sent the bad roller to a guy who rebuilt it for me and put new rubber on it. He specializes in rebuilding degraded rubber rollers on reel to reels and idler wheels on turntables mostly. But will pretty much rebuild any roller with rubber on it.
Here is his site terrysrubberrollers.com. The cost for a rebuild is 40 bucks with return shipping. That's the same price I paid for the last replacement roller I could find.
If you do decide to go through with the rebuild be sure to remove all of that rubber sludge on both the forward / shutter wheel and reverse wheel.
Scrape the majority off with a jewelers screwdriver first and wipe down the remains with rubbing alcohol.
Also make sure the still frame shutter in front of the bulb comes all the way down when in the still position and doesn't get stuck. If it does put a few drops of blue bottle (not red) 3 in 1 oil at the pivot point to free it up.

Hi Mark
Thx for the excellent pics. I actually rebuilt mine myself for 1.50. I went to my local Ace hardware store and found a rubber faucet washer the same shape as the wheel. It was slightly larger so I cut it down and epoxied it to the metal and it worked great. I sold the projector and the new owner is very happy with it.
