BA3601 on E-bay

This is the vast majority of what could be wrong on that board...

I asked a GS specialist and they told me that if the fine speed adjustment works most likely its not the IC but some other component on the board. But...Leon has them brand new sealed so I'm going to buy one and then take this one apart and see if I can fix it. Then I can have a spare!

I'm seeing about 5 transistors on the board too. If it isn't the IC these would be my next guess. After that the electrolytic capacitors.

Resistors and ceramic capacitors?: no!

Of course there's always the classic thing of the soldering needing refreshing.
