Right guys, I have a spare Spondon Long Play unit and would like to swap it for a Derann feature in excellent condition (no splices :-)), if you are interested in a swap, please PM me with what you have to offer. Please note I only have 1 set for swap, they are in a very nice condition (brass connectors), fully tested and if you want photo's then please let me have your email address via PM, thanks, Del.

No interest whatsoever, that really did surprise me. I just thought it was a novel idea, something a bit different, no worries though, someone somewhere will want a set of these at some point and then I'll either sell them or swap them, whichever, Del.

Hello Del

I already have one of these and agree they are a great piece of cine kit - if it helps email me some pictures of your Spondon and I will resize them and add them to your listing when I get home later today.

Kevin

Yes you would think that dedicated film forums would indeed be the ideal place to sell or trade quality cine items rather than ebay.

Apparently not now it would seem. [Confused]

Thanks Kevin, top man, but to be honest there is little interest yet in these, maybe it's just the wrong time or as Andrew say's people would rather not part with any film stock, I'm fine either way, as mentioned it was just an idea to try something a little different, thanks again though mate, much appreciated, Del.

Del, I want a Spondon LPU very much, but can't afford it and don't have any excellent condition Derann prints to trade, Sorry. I'm sure there is a lot of interest out there, but other people are in the same boat as me.

As i said to Del, Daniel,.. I think even those with the prints Del would like in return for this unit, they would be reluctant to part with any of them.

You need the LPU to make the most of these prints, so almost pointless really, to trade one of them for the LPU. That is unless you just happen to have two good copies of a print Del would have liked.

Keep saving Daniel, one will show up another time. [Wink]
