Hi there, I am trying to get some funds for an older friend of mine. He is retiring from film and has 2 elmo gs-cl optical projectors. They are in need of belts and 1 of them has the control knob on "stuck" midway from play to reverse. They ran FINE, and we watched a couple of reels. but, they are in need of a loving repair man, not much trouble, i would think. But what would be a fair asking price? Any interest?

CL's are rather common unless he has something "special" like anamorphic lens holders, 38mm lenses, etc. As such "working" they may bring $50-75 and overhauled maybe $125. Unfortunately the belts and parts are probably going to cost about what the projectors are worth!
