You can get a comprehensive manual from Old Timer Cameras.
Your problem may not be anything more serious than a start up capacitor-just a thought.

Thanks Barry, tried otc sent then pics of machine like they asked me to, over a week ago no more reply. I've solved the problem though must have been half asleep when testing with my meter, tranny is okay was a sticky microswitch. Running well now but could do with new belts arm belts are just normal elestic bands, like that when I bought it of ebay £30 so can't grumble to much. Anyone any idea where to get belts, the reel arms are toothed but don't know if original belts were, motor flat drive belt.

As I remember, the belts,as long as they are a good fit.will be smooth or toothed.
An idea that may throw up useful belts is a vacuum parts supplier.Remember getting mine off the Saturday market!!

Thanks I'll try that. I did find a german supplier within these forums but at nearly 40euros+postage per belt is a bit steep. They are toothed though. Managed to get reply from OTC manual in post, when I have time I'll scan and upload here for others to use.
