I've finally got round to converting my 35mm Kelmar cleaner to 16mm. I turned a new guide out of aluminium and changed the spacing on the drive wheel. The good thing is that this is non-destructive; it's easy to put it back to 35mm.
It's a bit of a lash up just now (note the sellotape) so I'll need to work out a better way of mounting it to my rewind table. Ideally I'd like to use it at projection time, but I really can't see a practical way of doing this
Note the muck on the media rolls!
I see that it uses up media roll at approximately one inch per three hundred feet of film. No wonder Brad said the n thousand (was it five?) feet of media roll he sold me would last a lifetime.
When I bought the Kemlar there were quite a few 35mm media rolls with it. If anyone wants some drop me a note.
