I wonder if anyone can help me with some information. While clearing out my late father-in-law's house the family came across an old 16mm cine projector. We have been trying to find out as much as possible about it, but it hasn't been easy. Yesterday I found this forum and I hope someone might be able to help. There are some people very interested in buying it but we have no idea of its worth.
It is a Kalart-Victor, model G, "Made in England for E.K.Cole Ltd , 5 Vigo Street, London", probably about 50 years old. Am I right in thinking it's called a Greyline?
The sound system is in another box, made by Salford Electrical Instruments of Peel Works, Silk Street, Salford.
I have searched all over the web, also ebay and other auction sites, but the models and prices vary a lot and I cannot find any info at all about the model G, so I would really appreciate any help or advice from you experts!

Check this youtube, this sounds like your projector. I've seen this monster once at a friends house.

Thank you! I checked with the in-laws and theirs is a little bit different. The case is grey and the sound system is in a completely seperate box. They are telling me that they thought it was a Kalart-Victor but that it only has Victor written on the projector itseld and nothing on the case.
Any idea of how much it is worth, just a ballpark figure so we kind of know what we are doing.. [Smile]
