Recently acquired one in mint condition and full working condition but the take up seems to bind sometimes. Does anyone know of adjustment or lubrication that would help?

There is no reel arm on the take-up, it is driven by two spring belts that connect to the feed reel pulley. Take the back off and remove the belts to the take-up pulley. Make sure and note how they go on the pulley before you remove them. Turn the take-up pulleys by hand and see if you feel any binding. I'm not sure but my guess is there may be some way to lube the shaft. Before you remove the belts you may want to run the projector and watch to see if you note any belt slippage or anything else like binding. Do this without threading the projector.

Thanks Barry I'll try that. I'm sure it must be something easily remedied as they are so well made. Also it looks like this one has had very little use.
