I'm looking to buy a couple of these. Good condition, not warped or bent.

Thanks,

Hi Steve,

Yeah, I should've mentioned - preferably in the UK!

I was hoping to pick some up at Ealing - there was every size but 2300.

Mike

I've never heard of a 2300' 16mm spool. Do you mean 2200' ?

If so, have a look at Paul Foster's website www.fosterfilms.co.uk where Paul is listing "2000' or 2200' plastic reels and cans, excellent condition. £9.99 each."

2200' spools were originally introduced for 1 hour TV shows and were made by using the 2000' diameter spool with a smaller core.

They are, for all intents and purposes, the same reel. It's simply a matter of how much spillage you're willing to risk!

Yep, 2200 or 2300 - they're both the same, Maurice. Theres always room for another 100ft [Big Grin]

So, anybody got any, other than Paul Foster? I was hoping to pay less than £10 a reel.

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.
