Would love to find one of these machines preferably in the UK or Europe.

Thanks, Kev

Me three! Although I've got Elfs (3000N, SL300, EX-1500 & XP-4000) I'd *STILL* like an Elmo!

I think I would prefer to get one with a European power supply and more local to me due to shipping weight.
Thanks guys for your input though.

Kev.

Hi Kevin,
Iīm thinking about to sell one day my 16CL Xenon. I collect more and more 35mm and I donīt use my 16CL to much. But still I have to much 16mm Features. I try to sell my collecton and I sold a big part of my collection, but I still have few importand 16mm features.
How much is a realistic price for this? I have only a small problem with this projector, sometimes is the optical sound lamp go off and if I stop the projector and start it again, the sound come back. I think there is a smal contact problem in the switch. Otherwise everything is ok.
I have a 20mm lens for a big picture in smal rooms, a 38mm lens with great sharp focus, an zoom lens and a converter.
I have also a Elmo Scope lens to fit direct on the 20mm or 38mm lens without bracet. I have also a unused spare Xenon bulb.
Iīm not shure if I want to sell it, but I have also a Elmo 16CL Halogen projector and maybe itīs enough for me, if I can get a good price for this.
I live in germany, so the shipping is not to expensive.
Iīm not shure if I sell it now, but itīs possible to sell it next time, because I have to pay few very expensive 35mm features.

I will need to try to find out the sort of price these are selling for at the moment. Rob Koeling has managed to buy 2 here in the UK. I will ask some of the UK dealers. I suspect a good price for one in Mint Condition would be about Ģ500 GBP.

BTW the fault with the optical lamp is common on the CL16 and is caused by dry solder joints on the amplifier board around the large wirewound resisters or the connector plug.

Is this an early or later machine as that will also reflect in the price. Does it have the toothed belt in the rear takeup arm or the flat white rubber coated belt. Also does it have a DIN socket for the speaker or a 1/4" jack socket. Jack socket and flat belt = early machine. Toothed belt and DIN socket = later machine.

If you do decide then please remember me.

I dont need any lenses as I have a 20mm and a 35 - 65mm Elmo Zoom for the CL16.

Kev.

Hi Kevin,
I sent to you few emails, but didnīt receive any response, I think they are lost again, in your spam filter.
Here is my email from 4. January:

hi kevin,
I made few pics from the Elmo 16CL. I noticed that the toothed was built in (itīs many years ago, so I forgot it). But I remember, that I put the belt backward because it runs better.
You can see pics here:
http://www.chapter-x.com/elmo/elmoxenon.htm Let me know if you need more infos.
Best regards
Oemer

Oemer, I have not seen any emails from you for a while now. I will check the spam filters to see if they have got stuck once more.

It's such a shame the world now has so much spam going round. Now we have genuine emails getting removed as well by the spam filters.
I saw a figure for 2006 that stated that 97% of all email traffic was spam! What a horrible figure [Frown]

Hi Oemer,

Do you have the manual for the Elmo 16-CL Xenon, either in English or in German?
I only have the French one.

Hi Hans,

Could you scan the French version? Even though my French is a bit rusty (and I would prefer an English or German copy as well), it would be very welcome. You know there is a maintenance manual for the standard CL available from the manual section on this site?
Is your manual the user manual or maintenance (both would be welcome).
If you can't scan, a photocopy would be appreciated as well. I'll pay you for the expenses.

Best,

- Rob

Hi Rob,

I will scan the French version, but it's just an "aside" manual that needs to be used next to the original.
It has no pictures, just translated text.
That's how Fujica did it too with all their manuals.
I can try to upload it, but a couple of years ago I didn't manage when I wanted to upload lots of manuals.
So now I send members scanned manuals on request.
That always works fine.

Hi Rob,

I mailed you the .PDF manual using Megaupload.com.
Unfortunately it's in Dutch, but if I remember correctly you're Dutch too.
If not and you don't understand how to get the file, please let me know.
