I can't believe how lucky I've been lately, two ads on ebay, selling
the same little trailer for "THE BLACK HOLE", Disney's sci-fi film'
I went for the one whose time was almost done, was the only
bidder and got the film for £6.00 inc p&p. The other one has
nearly two days to go, has 15 bids and is up to £28.00 plus p&p.
It must be the competition some folk like.

Well done Hugh, really pleased for you! I had a similar experience on e bay recently regarding 800ft reels and boxes ie Bonum, Gepe. One got into a bidding war of which I was first and the other I got from the same seller for 99p+ p&p! CRAZY or what?

Hi Andrew and thanks, I honestly think it could be the "thrill" of
bidding, one I can happily live without. It seems silly paying huge
sums of money for usually quite mundane items.

Hi Hugh. Well done! I was watching both those auctions but didn't get around to bidding.
