I've been off line for a while so haven't been kepping up to date with the goings on on the forum, but just logged on and it seems mighty quiet, in fact there's tumble weed blowing around in the general yak section, so I thought I'd ask where every one is.

I think those of us that havent seen much good weather this year are trying to make the most of it instead of sitting at out PC's.

I'm sure that as the dark, winter months approach we will see the forum liven up again.

Good to see you back online now Mike. When are we going to get a film show on 8mm of your round the world trip?

Good to see you back online again Mr milman but where is that mug shot?

Kev.

Right, Kev, when are we going to see Mike's the round-the-world-tour! You could transfer it to DVD format and sell them to us. [Smile]

I've never been in the 'Yak' area before, so it's a new one on me

Will come up with some generalities, one is the inclusion of an EBAY rule that ALL film auctions MUST have a photograph of the original box, if one is apparent - Particularly that, all potential auctions for films MUST describe the length and width of the reel proper; 3", 5", etc - Quibbles yes, still necessaries to the cause

Funny this topic came up - I myself haven't been around much lately, mostly due to the stresses of life, unexpected events (including medical issues) that need dealt with, and last but not least financial pressures that have prompted my wife and myself to put in additional hours at work to come out somewhat unscathed by the time Christmas is here. (Only 3 months, cripes!) [Eek!] In fact my company has made the next two Saturdays mandatory overtime days (8 hours each) so whenever I'm home most of my thoughts tend to center around "dinner" and "bedtime." [Big Grin]
I haven't even given any thought to super-8 lately, let alone run any screenings [Frown] Haven't given up on it though, I'm sure that during/after the holiday season there will be plenty of time to cozy up at home with hot cocoa and a nice flick here and there. [Wink] Yeah. Well, that's about it for me... Next. [Roll Eyes]

Welcome back Jan

Sorry to hear about all your woes... hopefully you'll get on top of things again soon [Smile] . Good to have you back.

John, it wasn't the Go Go Dancer that caught my eye it was the Thai girl whos Ping Pong Ball nearly had my eye out [Big Grin] .
