I just visited Europe last week and found if we purchased something in a shop (who provides us with tax rebate document) then we will able to get refund tax at the last airpot in the EU.
I got 10% refund last time for parfumes I bought.
I understand that Derann offer for non-EU buyer a 17.5% reduction. But if we buy directly from their shop in UK (for a full price) can we get 10% (or whatsoever)at the airport?
Also for other shops such as CHC or Perry's or Barry's can we get that refund?
For you to know, in Australia the tax refund system is so simple. Wherever you purchase (no matter it is duty free or not) you can stil get 12.5% refund at the aiport, as long as the shops have a valid tax number (which almost shops certainly have).
