... I think ...

I started an account with "My CDbaby" (I believe is the title) and I listed the song. I don't have artwork up yet, (don't know exactly what they are looking for in a photo size), so maybe it's not officially up yet, hopefully it is.

It is, however, my first official single ever released anywhere!

(besides the occasional albums marketed by me, by hand at concerts years ago)
If not, I'll have it figured out soon.

This single is a complete rewrite of the original seen in the music video from last year and really shows off the difference in vocals and "instrumental prowess" that has grown in this last year since the original music video was posted. It has more bounce (better bass line) and the audio quality is, in my opinion, twice as good, and best of all, it benefits from my better vocals.

When I originally did the first version, I was getting back into doing vocals after a 15 year layoff and it showed. I was able to hit notes that I had originally desired to hit when I first sang this song, but couldn't dream of hitting. Now, I can!

I think this version is much better than the original and I'm quite proud of it!

This sounds corny, but if someone can make an official link to the song, I would certainly appreciate it. Ole "CX" OSI is still catching up with life in general!

OSI

PS ... please let me know what you think of this new version!

Osi, where's the link, you know I can't wait!

This is worse than waiting for the Blu-Ray of "Raiders"! [Smile]

Rob, i'm totally pissed!

I have the song up on the site, but I'm having the damndest time getting the album cover to fit thier "format"! I converted it to the perscribed jpg format and it still won't load up, so I wrote them today to see what the problem is.

updates to follow!

Have the album/single cover all up loaded, but strangely enuf, when I type in the title of my song, it doesn't come up anywhere, so I'm wiondering if there is one last stop before it is actually listed (is it an overnight thing, where they bring up all the "ready" music for sale the next day/)

At any rate, I will call them this afternoon and find out for sure what needs to be done.

How about a link to the site that carries the CD? That would be a start.

In case anyone can't do this just highlight the address, press CTRL+C and then do a reply on here and press CTRL+V. One of us may stumble across the single then and we can all send you money!!!

I contacted thm by phone yesterday, and it apprantly takes up to 48 hours from the time you put up the artwork until it actively shows up on CDbaby for purchase. According to the operator I talked to, the official link for it will be this ...

Http:://cdbaby.com/cd/cx1

Let me know if this works as of tomorrow. I just checked (24 hours after placing the artwork up), and it's not working yet, so lets give em time.

One too many colons in there Osi but www.cdbaby.com is a good starting point. Your work isn't up there yet.
