Just wondered if many forum members use Skype on their PC's?

I have just ordered a Skype Phone to use on my Mac so will be wanting to give it a try in the next couple of days.

Before anyone replies let me remind you not to put email addresses in the posts in the normal manner and dont post any Skype user details.

Kev.

Kevin,

We have used 'SkypeOut' (the international long-distance option) for a while now on our PCs and both the sound and the rates from the US are very good. Recently we added a small PC-camera so now we can see each other at both ends when we call the family.
Great fun, really.

I'm a regular Skype user. My girlfriend is dutch an lives in Holland. Because of the odd shift pattern I work, I get 2 weeks off every month and go over there on these occasions. While I'm in England however, Skype is superb for us - with a webcam at each end it's like being there! we also each have a Telbox B2K USB converter and so PC to PC Skype calls come through on our ordinary cordless phones.

I too am a fan of Skype-it's so cool to be able to talk--and see each other!-from the other edge of the world paying not a penny-
long live high tech!

...Well at least in communications-not in DVDs etc [Big Grin]

Maybe we should get a Skype directory going here on the forum so forum members can communicate with each other. Maybe it could be added to the profile etc.
