Kevin,
We have used 'SkypeOut' (the international long-distance option) for a while now on our PCs and both the sound and the rates from the US are very good. Recently we added a small PC-camera so now we can see each other at both ends when we call the family. Great fun, really.

I'm a regular Skype user. My girlfriend is dutch an lives in Holland. Because of the odd shift pattern I work, I get 2 weeks off every month and go over there on these occasions. While I'm in England however, Skype is superb for us - with a webcam at each end it's like being there! we also each have a Telbox B2K USB converter and so PC to PC Skype calls come through on our ordinary cordless phones.

I too am a fan of Skype-it's so cool to be able to talk--and see each other!-from the other edge of the world paying not a penny- long live high tech!
...Well at least in communications-not in DVDs etc

Maybe we should get a Skype directory going here on the forum so forum members can communicate with each other. Maybe it could be added to the profile etc.
