Just went through the annual ritual of watching the Eurovision song contest with a few cans and Sir Terry of Wogan's irreverant commentary. It was always ridiculously funny, but its sad that it's deteriorated into a childish "love-in" between the newly independent republics and their formwer masters.

I agree Dave. I think as Sir Terry said us Western Europeans should decide as to whether its really worth doing it next year.
Yes there might have been better songs than ours but some of the stuff that got votes was unbelievable

Haven't watched it for donkey's years, to be honest, the dodgey voting has been going on for years. It used to tickle me how we would always and I mean always give maximum votes to Ireland and they would not ever give us any. They will keep it going though (100m viewers) worldwide, Del.
