Hey Joe, a question ...
I already have that original premiere show, (too bad it never went any further) that Laurel and hardy did for radio, "Mr. Slaters Poultry Farm" which ran approx. 30 minutes, but what other Laurel and Hardy radio shows were done?
I do know of one "address" that they did in the UK to the radio audience, I think it ran about five minutes. It had a very funny exchange ... Stan is "wriggling" about and being an annoyance, and Ollie threatens him ...
Ollie : " If you don't stop annoying me I'll wiggle you! "
(cue Stan doing his wonderful cry, and we could just see him tossling his hair)
Ollie : " What's the matter now?! "
Stan : " I don't want to be wiggled, oooh! "
It was a charming little radio address. I remember that it was released on a collection of short radio bits called "I remember radio", put out my "Longines" records.
Apart from that other short bit, I can't think of any others.
I wouldn't be surprised if there are some old World War two radio shows with laurel and hardy on them, as they toured with many other stars for the troops, such shows as "Command Performance" and "G.I. Journal. (those must have been awesome, I have a collection on CD of about fifty of those old shows and you'd be surprised of the number of different stars that appeared on them together for the only time in thier careers!)
Just for a little bit of Nolstalgia, in Groucho Marks autoboigraphy "The Groucho Phile" ...

It was probably the alcohol the lads made in thier first feature " Pardon Us ", it would have been quite the nice vintage by the early 40's!

Osi, you can check out the Sons on-line, probably at SonsOfTheDesert.org, and locate a tent or chapter nearest the Boise area. I think there are some - The segment you refer to was from their first tour in 1932, and years ago, about 1983 or so, Adventures In Cassettes released it, along with other radio moments of other performers - The cassette included Stan's 1959 interview interspersed with music and the address to the audience which you mentioned, also "The Wedding" (1938), maybe their foray into radio with Patsy Moran & Edgar Kennedy - Side 2 contained an orchestral overture to the Cuckoo Song - Still kept it all these years - An LP was released about the same time with Stan's interview and other moments, from Radio Rarities (Actually, I can't get to it on the shelf, but it was from a company that specialized in radio programming, not Longine's this time though) - Fraternally, Shorty - I haven't been "active" in years and am currently of the Utopian tent membership, just foundering about
