We have been working through the recently released DVD's of the British TV series Danger Man (A.K.A as Secret Agent in the USA), and it has given both of us a renewed appreciation of British actor Patrick McGoohan. This is a really great series, and McGoohan is the ultimate ultra-cool secret agent who uses his wits rather than firepower to neutralize his enemies. After watching several of these you realise what a superb actor McGoohan was as agent John Drake, and you also wonder how much better he would have been than Sean Connery or any of the others in the James Bond films. In fact in just about all respects I find McGoohan as John Drake much more admirable than Sean Connery as Bond. Anyway, it's a terrific series, with great nostalgia for 1960's Britain. Highly recommended, particularly to US forum members, who may have never seen it.
