actually folks, I think that this is a generic problem with perhaps many different machines...
The plug in section on the keyboard (where the cord plugs into the keyboard from the wall socket), has worn out, it's loose and will no longer recieve power ...
Is there anyway I can "circumvent" that plug in and perhaps, even if by soldering, attach the cord, (removing the "jack' on the cord) to a section of the keyboard? That Roland plug in seesmt o be the kind that holds the actual power supply in the actual cord, and not in the keyboard itself, so I'm kind of confused.
If it can't be repaired in some way, I'm afraid my trusty Roland may be already on it's way to that "Keyboard in the sky", but hey, it's the second Roland I have truly pounded into the ground.
I still think that perhaps there is some life to her yet!
