Anyone in the UK section of the forum watching the latest episode of 'Whitechapel' on ITV monday 9pm? This double parter is loosely based on an actual case in the twenties in Britain when a nutter claimed that he was pushed to murder after the film 'London after midnight' unhinged his mind. This film is considered a sort of holy grail amongst us film fiends since the last known copy was lost in a vault fire in the seventies. Final part monday 5th.

Then again, who knows where a reel can be found...

Yes, it's tantalizing to think that a copy may be gathering dust somewhere, possibly under it's alternative title; 'The Hypnotist'. Unfortunately the makers, MGM, guarded their release copies jealously, so it's doubtful any remained in some foreign vault. Unless you know differently of course....

I know that alot of beforehand, supposedly "lost" films, have been re-discovered. Some are found in an old shed or basement. I hold out for the faith in finding these films - Nothing is always impossible
