Hi I`m a bit under the weather at the moment but its oddly been affecting my ears quite badly and upping thier issues as feel quite a bit blocked, uneasy etc etc.

I can`t actually fly anyway as the pressure is far too intense and causes problems for years.

What I`m getting to is that I still like to listen to vinyl but am having issues with the sound affecting my ears, getting a bit sore etc. Its not a volume issue, I can go very loud without issue sometimes, its more the delivery of the sound.

I recently picked up a hanpin Chinese made very nice Deck cheap that has an inbuilt pre-amp. Its a Hi Fi users biased player and I`d say about the clearest deck I`ve ever used.

Only trouble is the amplified twin speaker speakers with a tone control I usually use are a high qaulity PC or other uses type that never bothered my ears before or on my old decks. This new deck has far more clarity etc, but its not a base or treble thing. Its the type of sound if you will.

I have found my older 2.1 desktop speaker set with 2 small satelite speakers and middle base unit, do not affect my ears with the new deck like the usually better ones do now. Now this older 2.1 sounds OK, but no where as clear and punchy as the 2.0 ones sadly.

I have thought to try and pick up a 2nd hand clear but kindly sounding amp with bass and trebble adjustement, as have two superb wooden sony speakers I can use.

Really I`am after anyones thoughts please or experiance. Oddly the sound through the 2.0 ones from cd or USB stick etc don`t affect my ears much, but with the better deck does. They do sound lovely though but !!!

Can`t help enjoying vinyl so any thoughts etc would be great thanks.

Best Mark.
