As I mentioned some months ago I was in regular contact with Gerald McKee about progress on his proposed part II of "The Home Cinema" for the post-war years. He always said that work was making satisfactory progress, but he became ill and his enthusiasm waned. Then, sadly, he passed away.
Much later I heard from a well-known collector that he had all of Gerald's paperwork and perhaps one day the new book might appear.
I had a chance at the BFCC last Saturday to ask the collector for a progress report. Unfortunately it does seem that the hopes of the book materialising have virtually disappeared. Most of the narrative was finished, or nearly finished, but there were no pictures to augment the text.
All the material is now with Gerald's widow and perhaps may never be published.

As I said to you on Saturday, Maurice, perhaps this is a job for someone on the forum here who might feel like taking it on.
