Was their last year and I'm going to try and make it again this year. Hope to procure some films but really look forward to the four day long film show. A lot of rare silents and early talkies, features and shorts. All shown on 16mm.

As usual, a list of films to die for. One of these years....

8mm?? Nope. This is not strictly a film collectors festival, such as at Wildwood, though there are dealers rooms - more a festival of film for lovers of the classic era.

Pat , there are 8mm dealers there. I was referring to the show. A lot of rare films shown from the Library of Congress, UCLA Film and Television Archives, and the George Eastman House; among others.
March 13, 14, 15, and 16.

Certainly there is alot of film, and both gauges of 8mm are not overlooked - Surprise dealers show up with a cache of titles, also the obscure in catalogs and bulletins - Go, by all means - Discussions take on the varying subjects from restoration in Europe to the current trends and arguments over digital/celluloid - Shorty
