My wife and I were watching "Tales of Terror" on DVD last night, and she noticed a scene and said ...

"Hey, they were using an anamorphic lense to create that special effect" ...

My wife said "Anamorphic lense"!!! Gad, how I love her!!! [Smile]

I can't understand why people have 16:9 on 4:3 and think it's okay ... Looks awful and how they not notice, I will never understand :-/

TV's on automatic is awful (come to think of it, TV is awful)

I have the same problem with practically everybody around me,even with my film collector friends, and I don't want to speak about my better half! When I watch tv,I keep changing from one format to the other, according to the picture, and get scolded by everyone for disturbing their viewing because they don't mind !!!! and they don't see any difference !!!!!!!!!!
