It looks and sounds great...however the 35mm print we screened on the big screen a couple of years ago was better, but sadly we will never again see it projected as film again.

Anyway, here are a couple of screen shots I took of the Blu-ray.

Nice screenshots, Graham. Personally, I was a bit disappointed after having seen the beautiful transfers of other David Lean films on blu ray (A Passage to India, Lawrence and River Kwai).

I remember fondly of seeing this in 70mm in the mid 1970's, now that was a print!
