Reading lately about the latest Godzilla movie, made me think about all the movies that had the US attacked by Martians, Dinosaurs, Aliens...etc. Anyway that got me thinking [Roll Eyes] ...so... why is it, that the poor US gets attacked by all these creatures more than anyone else?

Often wondered why all these highly intelligent aliens should travel to America.

I'm sure they can intercept our TV transmissions and see what happens to them when they get here.

Yet still they arrive and get shot at.

Isn't Japan the first in line ,or does it only attract giant monsters and giant robots, while America attracts everything else?
And,poor Vidar, you've only got Reptilicus!!! [Razz]

I thought it was all part of the paranoia expression, east, west etc at the time and suited the Gov anyway.

Fear creates a big emotional response,in films, in life, and a big seller too.

Best Mark.

Here he is Reptilicus

I suppose we must also mention the great Konga who terrorises London.

Hey, hold on a minute, we have had our share at times, what about the attack from aliens that Quatamass had to deal with? Not to mention the Daleks, Cybormen, etc. having to be dealt with by Doctor Who. Then we also have had thr Triffids and we were also involved in the War of the Worlds at one stage who I think had a go at us before giving up and then went to America and tried there.!! Its a great shame the Americans tried so much to destroy the ones that came to save the world from self destruction or simply got left behind accidentally on an exploration visit.!!! London has had its fair share of being trampled on by Gorgo (mother & son), The Giant Behemoth and those Reign of Fire dragons.

While we're on the subject, please accept my personal apology for the unpleasantness caused by that American Werewolf's visit to London, however in all fairness he wasn't a lycanthrope until that encounter in the moors.

"Reign of Fire"

Now, THAT would make an EXCELLENT Super 8 30 minute digest!!!!!

Does anybody own a 35MM print of that?!!

Seriously, does anyone?
